Can you install a Wireless Battery Security Camera yourself?

It is not. It use PIR detection technology. In order to save power, the Battery Camera will only trigger work after detecting person, and the rest of the time is in the dormant state. When the indicator light shows blue light, it means that the camera is triggered and it starts to record. If the indicator light is not on, it means the camera is in sleep mode. You can store videos on SD card or cloud. SD card max can be used 128GB, and we use Amazon cloud.

How long do Battery Camera last?

The battery of Battery Camera can last up to one to three years. They are very easy to replace-easier than replacing the watch battery. After the camera is fully charged, it can work continuously for 4-5 months (under the condition of recording 20 10s videos per day) when the indicator light shows yellow, it reminds you that the battery is low and you need to recharge the battery.

How to share Wireless Battery Security Camera with family members to watch?

Open the Vicoo APP, select your camera in the main menu, click the share button on the main interface or “share” in the camera settings, enter the sharing page, and click “invite friends” to generate a QR code. Friends can be added by scanning the QR code in the adding device, and at the same time they have the permission to watch the live broadcast and replay the video.

What should I do if the device fails to share when it fails to share?

Check whether the network of the two mobile phones is normal, and then confirm that the login account is the same registration method, for example, the account registered with the mobile phone number cannot be shared with the account registered by the mailbox. After scanning the sharing QR code, you must click on the main phone to agree to share successfully.

How far should Battery Camera be placed from the router?

After testing, the Wi-Fi connection distance is up to 20 meters in the open. The actual situation depends on the Wi-Fi strength and the surrounding environment (excessively thick walls, electromagnetic wave equipment, and large-volume metal objects can cause interference to Wi-Fi signals). If the camera connection signal is weak or unstable, please place the camera as close to the router as possible.
