Q: Why Ubox Solar Cameras Unable to Connect to the Mobile Phone

1. For WI-FI Version
(1) Firstly check if the network is normal.
(2) Make sure the router is a 2.4G router.
(3) Reset the device about 10 seconds then turn on the cameras.
(4) Connect mobile phone to the router firstly, then check router password is correct or not.
(5) Make sure the testing environment will be full covered with wifi signal.
(6) Turn on Ubox APP and configure the network of the machine through sound waves to test whether it can be connected or not.
(7) Check if the ubox solar camera can be directly connected to the mobile phone through AP mode.
(8) Replace the mobile phone and router to check whether the connection is possible.
(9) Insert the TF card into the machine, turn on the machine for one minute, and send the logfile in the TF card and the video of about one minute from the start of power-on (the indicator light can be seen) back to the manufacturer for analysis.

(1) Make sure the SIM card is inserted into the device in the correct way.
(2) After turning on the camera for 10 seconds, then reset the machine.
(3) Check whether the indicator light status is correct. After inserting the SIM card, the normal status of the machine indicator light is: after turning on the machine, the red indicator light is always on for 3 seconds, then the red light flashes 2 times, then the red and blue indicators flash alternately 2-3 times, then the red and blue indicators flash alternately for 2-3 seconds, then the red and blue indicators flash at the same time, then the blue indicator light flashes, and then the blue indicator light is always on.
(4) Check whether the indicator light status is correct when scanning the code. You must wait for the blue indicator light to be always on before scanning the machine QR code with the APP.
(5) Insert the TF card into the machine, turn on the machine for one minute, and send the logfile in the TF card and the video of about one minute from the power-on (the indicator light should be visible) back to the manufacturer for analysis.

Q: What to do while failed configuration with ubox mobile APP

1. Check whether the battery has power, charge the machine with 5V 2A USB (the charging indicator light will light up and the charger will heat up during charging)
Charge for more than two hours, then turn on the machine for testing (S25 can check the power level through the battery compartment power display button and turn on the indicator light).
2. Check whether the power cord of the machine is correctly connected. The power cord must be correctly connected to the host. If conditions permit,
users can use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the 4pin power cord of the solar panel.
For other models, users with conditions can remove the battery cover to check whether the power cord is detached. If there is a multimeter, measure the voltage of the 2-pin switch in the middle of the 6-pin power cord to turn on and off the switch.
3. Check the status indicator to see if the indicator lights up when the machine is turned on. After turning on the switch, the customer can try to reset the machine by pressing and holding the reset button for 5 seconds to check whether the machine can return to normal.
