With the wide application of low-power battery cameras, they quickly fill the use scenarios under the conditions of “power supply” and “wired network”. This kind of product is light, easy to install, and the use effect is good, but the public is also worried about it, because it is afraid that when passing the PIR detection, there will be a missing report, because he has no way to know whether someone has actually passed during the absence of detection, and at the same time, there will be false positives for some objects, so everyone urgently hopes that in the case of no electricity and no network, Cameras also allow for more comprehensive, 24-hour recording and online recording.
At the same time, there are also low-power processors, as well as ultra-low power CMOS, and then through the development of a new generation of low-power system – AOV technology, so that the camera remains online, and lower power consumption. In terms of video recording, it drops to 2 seconds 1 frame when it does not detect the trigger, and returns to 15 FPS /s when it detects an alarm.
The biggest change is that the previous PIR detection camera detection alarm is triggered by PIR, and then through the camera’s judgment of the image, to determine that it is a person or an animal, and then wake up the camera to work normally and record, there will be a certain missing report and delay.
AOV technology, however, does not need to pass PIR detection, and directly relies on images to judge, with higher accuracy, and 24 hours online, making the detection more comprehensive and eliminating everyone’s concerns about missing detection.
The AOV technology will reduce the frame rate of the video to 2s 1fps through calculation when no one is around, and the camera detects the image in real time, which greatly ensures his alarm accuracy and responsiveness. And the storage footprint is relatively small.
When someone is detected, the processor restores the recording to 15fps/s, ensuring the integrity of the alarm video. Compared with PIR, this greatly enhances his alarm accuracy and response speed. It also doesn’t add too much storage. And low frame rate operation, in a complete set of low power system support, power consumption is also very well controlled.
Relatively speaking, the detection distance is also increased. Due to the physical properties of PIR, the detection distance is difficult to break through the range of 12 meters, and the distance will be shortened due to the actual environment. However, AOV can avoid this problem, because it judges by images, and can realize long-distance monitoring by changing the focal length of the optical lens. This is undoubtedly a major breakthrough in the use of no electricity, no network scenario.
